Camping

 Going on a 9 day trip!! We are going camping up in the NC mountains for a week. Before that though, we are staying at my house while we go to the NC home school convention. I love the mountains! Especially the cool weather, it has been over 95 degrees here in Charleston lately.:) So please pray for safe travel. Thanks and God bless,

Day at the park and wild flowres

Hello every one! Yesterday my family and I and some of our good friends went to the Water Front park. It was so much fun! Down on the pier there was a refreshing breeze and lots of swings. We also saw a big group of about 10 sting rays swimming past! One of the best parts was that there was LOTS of wild flowers growing down in the grass. I had the camera to take some shots with and started doing so. Then all of the other kids saw them and wanted me to take a picture of each and every one! They were truly very pretty . I have never seen such delicate, unique and very detailed wild flowers. Below are some of them.

Butterfly and Flowers

Hey all! Above are some pictures of our backyard flower bushes. OK, I have something to confess. You know the really pretty butterfly picture, well the butterfly is actually, well not living.:) Wish I could take credit for the picture with a living  butterfly in it, but unfortunately they are to fast for me. One of my brothers found this one for me to a take pictures of.

Sweet little Eden Joy

 

 Above are some pictures of my sweet baby sister Eden. I took these about a month ago and am just now posting them.:) Is she not adorable??!! Her personality also goes along with her face, SWEET!! I love taking pictures of her. She is so photogenic, well until the end, as you can see in the last picture.:))

. Hmm, about me. I am a 13 year old Christian girl who will be 14 this fall. I am the daughter of the most wonderful parents in the world.The second oldest child (oldest girl) in a family of almost 12. I love my parents SO much! I have 1 older brother who is 16, and 7 little siblings, the youngest being 15 mothes old. I love all of my sweet siblings, they are all my best friends! I LOVE babies, and can't wait until my new baby brother or sister comes. I live in the beautiful state of South Carolina, which I like, but I would probably rather live near the mountains were it is not so hot in the summer and where it snows even a little in the winter:))

 I am not very talkative or out going at all. I am probably one of the most quiet kids in our family. I love to laugh, sing, and skip about though!

What grade in your studies are you currently in? What subject are you particularly interested in?  . I am finishing up seventh grade and will be in eighth this coming school year. This year my favorite subjects were history and language arts. Math comes next, though I am not sure weather or not I will like it this coming year; Algebra:(   5. Might you tell us a few of your favorite pastimes and/or interests? . My favorite pastimes are writing, reading and blogging. I have SO many interests. I love writing books, photography, knitting, cross stitching, baking and decorating the finished MASTERPIECE which is always , just kidding.:))  Things I would love to learn someday are learn how to sew, crochet, and some kind of instrument. 6. Are you fond of crafting? If so, what are your current projects that have been keeping you occupied?
. I love being creative, but I have no current projects.





7. What type of music are you particularly fond of?
 I love classical music, that is ANY classical music. I especially like it when doing my school. I can write quick when the music is fast and slow when the music is.:)

8. Could you please share a few of your favorite songs you like to listen to or artists? Do you play an instrument yourself?
   
 Some of my favorite music artists are Casting Crowns, Fernando Ortega, Katherine Scott, Chris Tomlin,
and many others. I don't play any instruments, but took violin for a while.
   
 9. Are you old-fashion or modern?     

 I am a little of both. If I could though, I would totally rather live back then, that is in the 1800's.

10. What are some of your favorite reading material?     

 Historical, Christian fiction and mystery!

11. Name a few of your favorite books and authors.
 Some of my favorite books are Bible, Pilgrims Progress, A Life of Faith books, Mandie Mystery books, Red Rock Mystery books and many more, just can't think of any more at the moment.:)

12. What are a few of your favorite movies or TV shows?
 Some of my favorite movies are: all of the Narnia movies, Lord of the Rings, Facing the Giants, Flywheel, At the End, all of the Little House on the Prairie movies, Johnathan Sperry, Gifted Hand, Jone of Ark, Sound of Music, Passion, Jeremiah.

13. Are you partial to traveling abroad? If so, where do you dream of visiting? What would you do at your dream destination?

 I love traveling! If I could go were ever I wanted, I probably would like to travel some parts of Europe, and Italy (Rome.)
 
14. What are your sentiments on lavender? 

 I like the smell, but I like the flower better.

15. Are you partial to letter-writing or do you prefer e-mailing?
 I love letter writing best (and receiving them!)

16. Do you have a favorite Etsy shop? 

 I have lots of favorites!!:) Should I list them??

17. What are your goals/resolutions for this summer? 

 I don't really have any:)

 I have so many, but I really love Galatians 5:22-25, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy , peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control: against such there is no law. And those who belong to to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk by the Sprite.
  

19. What is perhaps one of your fondest memories from your past? 
One of my fondest early memories is when I was little, my daddy took me out to eat. Then we drove to an equestrian center, and petted the horses (I love them!!) He also took me out in a field were wild flowers were growing and I picked a big bunch.
